Chalkida Attractions

THE OLD BRIDGE

Typical symbol of the city. Picturesque, with beautiful views and its ‘crazy waters’ that change direction every 6 or so hours.

THE KARABABA CASTLE

A Venetian Castle of 1204 with a large part of the walls standing in its place and the wonderful view are good reasons to go up to the Castle of Karabamba, which is built on the hill of the Boeotian coast, in a strategic position as it controls the strait of Euripus and the city of Chalkida.

COFFEE and a STROLL IN PARALIA

THE CITY HALL

Three-storey neoclassical building with baroque elements.

KAMARES
